Long before the Bible, history say,
the time of Pharaohs and Hebrew slaves.
Strong and powerful as they may,
one a king and the other was for knaves.
Hand-in-hand together they fought,
while many regimes before them fell.
None disobeyed them, they dare not,
days were like years, with tales to tale.
With time, ego, deceit they separated ways,
one soared higher, the other a common man.
On throne in pride and blinded in gaze,
in God's wrath he fell in more ways than one can.
While with the Hebrews the other man rose,
upon whom even the Angels would truly moan.
Moses went to promised land, the story goes,
while Ramesis the proud perished on his throne.
